Setting
up an e-mail account can be confusing if you've never done it
before, and unless you're using AOL or another ISP (Internet Service
Provider) that provides mail services you will need manually
set up your e-mail program so you
can send and receive messages. We have provided the link below to
Comcast's help page because it has clear instructions on how to
setup MS Outlook Express. Outlook and other mail programs are
setup in a similar manner. No matter what ISP you currently subscribe to, the
process is pretty much the same.
All
you need to know is your incoming and outgoing server names
which
your ISP should provide for you at their web site, your account
name
and password. Once you know your server names (example of
incoming server name: mail.comcast.net,
example of outgoing server
name: smtp.comcast.net)
You can click on the link below for detailed
instructions on how to set up your e-mail accounts. Good
Luck!
